We’ve Made Some Changes to the Marketplace

29Mar10

Recently we’ve been asked to clarify parts of the Marketplace and how they work. So, we thought we’d take a step back and see if we could help to clear things up a little.

After some careful thought, we decided to make a few important changes. We hope you’ll take a look.

Wondering who will see your listing?

We may just be getting started, but we’re keen to see you find solutions!

We’re going out of our way to promote each new Marketplace listing both on and off the website, ensuring your listing gets in front of loads of people.

What is Crowdsourcing?

Jeff Howe defines Crowdsourcing as, “the act of taking a job traditionally performed by a designated agent (usually an employee) and outsourcing it to an undefined, generally large group of people in the form of an open call.”

Locally Informed harnesses the power of crowdsourcing and applies it at a local level.
